The Usenet client options for Mac have been fairly sparse since the Panic team decided to discontinue development of Unison in 2014. You still have apps like Newshosting that are maintained by Usenet providers but very few choices for those who want to connect to multiple Usenet services. - NewsWatcher-X: NewsWatcher, by John Norstad, is the preeminent Mac OS newsreader. Electric Fish, Inc., carbonized it to make it a native Mac OS X application. NewsWatcher-X is freeware.
